A transvaginal ultrasound scan may be performed on the day of your consultation prior to seeing the fertility consultant, so that an informed decision can be made about future investigations or treatment.
If you have recently had a scan elsewhere and can provide the report of this or should you not wish to have a scan performed when you attend, please call the medical secretaries.
If you need a scan thereafter we will organise this for you, of course.
The scan can be performed on any day of your cycle - it does not matter if you are partway through your menstrual cycle.
