The Lister Fertility Clinic is offering 23 free IVF cycles for the year 2012, thanks to Mr Hossam Abdalla, subject to a defined set of criteria.
2009 marked the 21st birthday for the Lister Fertility Clinic and it was at the re-launch of the newly expanded Clinic that Mr Abdalla demanded an end to ‘postcode lotteries’ and announced 21 free IVF cycles, increasing by one for each consecutive year at his discretion. The reason for Mr Abdalla offering the free treatments is based on his call for the NICE guidelines on fertility treatment to be implemented across the country in order to bring postcode lottery in IVF to an end, as he feels it is long overdue.
2012 marks the 3rd year that the Lister Fertility Clinic has been offering free treatment in association with Infertility Network UK. The closing date has since passed and shortly after, Mr Abdalla randomly selected the 23 couples. These couples will each receive one free cycle of basic IVF treatment to be carried out at The Lister Hospital, London.
If you would like to apply for a free cycle of IVF, we anticipate future advertising to begin in October 2012 for the allocation of 24 free cycles of IVF to take place in 2013. This will be advertised via the Infertility Network UK website as well as on this website - watch this space....
