The Lister Fertility Clinic is proud to have sponsored Chana, a charity which supports members of the Jewish community when facing problems with fertility. Chana was founded in 1994 by a group of women who were dealing with infertility in their lives. It has since developed into a highly respected, professional, non-profit-making charity, based in and serving the Jewish community.
This year’s fundraiser took place over three days in the South of France, based in Monaco. The event, Chana Rally 2011, involved spending time with some of those working with Chana and its supporters. James Nicopoullos (Consultant Gynaecologist and IVF Specialist) and Lloyd Bowden (Consultant Liaison Officer) represented The Lister Hospital and Lister Fertility Clinic, and spoke about the hospital and the clinic’s services at a gala dinner on Tuesday 24th May.
During the day the rally, really ‘en promenade’, took the drivers through some spectacular parts of Les Alpes Maritimes, Provence and Les Alpes Cote D’Azur. All 36 cars involved in the rally sported Lister Fertility Clinic livery, and all participants received commemorative polo shirts and tee shirts.
We are very excited about developing our relationship with Chana, and assisting those in the Jewish community in any way we can.
