Our celebrated Pregnancy Calculator enables patients to establish their very own chances of achieving a pregnancy at the clinic (using the clinic's own data). The Pregnancy Calculator factors in a patient's age as well as other variables such as whether blastocyst transfer is used, ovarian reserve (FSH or AMH levels), and number of previous IVF attempts.
The Pregnancy Calculator uses information from the total number of IVF / ICSI treatment cycles performed at the Lister Fertility Clinic over a defined time period.
You can use the calculator to get a personalised estimate of your chances of achieving a pregnancy at our clinic.
Start by choosing your age group (age of female partner)
You can then select one or more additional factors to see how they affect pregnancy rates including:
- whether blastocyst embryos are transferred
- FSH level
- AMH level
- number of fresh attempts
If you select several of these factors together may result in a small number of treatment cycles matching those criteria. This may compromise how precise the calculation can be.
You will achieve a higher sample size, and therefore greater accuracy, if you select fewer factors (we recommend a maximum of 2-3), so for example, your age, blastocyst and FSH level, or your age, number of attempts and FSH level and so on. The results give the total number of
- positive pregnancy tests
- live births
- pregnancies lost
The Pregnancy Calculator also calculates the percentage chance of having a positive pregnancy test or live birth rate:
- per treatment cycle started
- per egg collection procedure
- per embryo transfer procedure
- per embryo transferred.
