The Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatients Centre is a purpose-built diagnostic and treatment facility which aims to offer a ‘one-stop’ alternative for those wanting to access medical care from The Lister Hospital.
As part of The HCA Group of Hospitals, The Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatients Centre and The Lister Fertility have joined forces to offer couples in the North London area the convenience of undergoing the initial stages of the treatment locally before travelling to Chelsea for the operative and laboratory procedures’
Easier access to world-class fertility treatment
Consultant Gynaecologist, Mr Gidon Lieberman, will be based at The Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatients Centre. Mr Lieberman is a sub-specialist in reproductive medicine and surgery. He is experienced in the management of fertility problems and has a special interest in reproductive surgery and IVF. He also holds a consultant position at The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust where he is lead for the fertility service.
Mr Lieberman offers patients initial and follow-up consultations, arranges investigations and discusses different treatment options. There is no waiting time for treatment and patients can usually commence treatment at a time that suits them.
Couples undergoing fertility treatment will also be able to have all their ovulation induction, cycle monitoring and blood tests at The Wellington at Golders Green, thereby reducing the number of visits to The Lister Fertility Clinic

If necessary, a semen test can be arranged at The Lister Hospital prior to the initial appointment at The Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatients Centre.
An ultrasound scan is normally carried out on the day of the consultation and the results discussed the same day.
After cycle preparation at The Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatients Centre, egg collection, embryo transfer will be carried out at The Lister Fertility Clinic in Chelsea, where counselling is also available to all couples free of charge.

No matter what treatment is required, a patient will always receive a uniquely personalised service and an excellent level of continuity through regular appointments with the same member of staff.
With the patient’s consent, The Lister Fertility Clinic team will continue to keep the referring doctor informed of the couple’s progress in writing.
