The Lister Fertility Clinic offers egg freezing to women who are facing a total loss of, or a significant decline in, ovarian function, which may have an impact on their future fertility.
The work up for egg freezing is similar to that covered in IVF. The difference is that the eggs are frozen and not fertilised. It is usual to perform ICSI on these eggs when they are eventually thawed and used for transfer.
